Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you access the site, your browser automatically transmits technical data — such as your IP address, browser type and version, and the date and time of access — which is processed in server log files to deliver the website reliably and securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on appropriate safeguards such as EU standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Domain and DNS services are provided via Cloudflare, which processes connection data for the same purpose.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no cross-site or third-party advertising trackers. Because no non-essential cookies are used, no cookie consent banner is required.
Privacy-Friendly Analytics (Cookieless)
To understand how this website is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous usage statistics — such as page views, scroll depth, performance metrics and clicks on contact links. This analytics is cookieless and stores no personal data: your IP address is never stored. It is converted into a daily-rotating, salted hash used solely to estimate unique visits, which can no longer be linked to you the following day. We do not track you across other websites.
The anonymous statistics are stored in our own database hosted by Supabase (data region: EU / Frankfurt, Germany) as a processor on our behalf. As no cookies are set and no personal data is processed, this is based on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Game Plan Download (Email Address)
If you request our free Game Plan PDF, we ask for your email address and store it together with the request time in our own database hosted by Supabase (data region: EU / Frankfurt, Germany) as a processor on our behalf. We use it to provide the Game Plan and to understand interest in it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (fulfilling your request) and our legitimate interest in knowing who receives our material (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not send marketing emails without your separate consent and we do not share your email address with third parties. You can request deletion at any time via hello@modernathletelab.com.
WhatsApp Contact
Buttons such as “Book a Discovery Call” open a chat with us on WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) in a new tab. Simply visiting this website transmits no data to WhatsApp — only once you actively open the chat does WhatsApp process your data under its own privacy policy.
Contacting Us
If you contact us by email, the data you provide (such as your name, email address and message) is processed solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We retain this data only as long as necessary and delete it once your request has been fully handled and no legal retention periods apply.
